As security administrators, MAI tries to be as proactive as possible, applying patches and updates, conducting penetration testing and establishing usage policies. Unfortunately, sometimes all the preventive care in the world won't protect systems from an inevitable infection. Incidents can vary widely and new malware is appearing regularly, so it is not always possible to stop them. But with the proper planning, lasting effects from a security incident can be stemmed quickly and with little to no damage to the system or its data.

 

A virus or malware attack will be treated like any other issue in the technical environment. Once the MAI team is aware of the issue we will follow our proven procedures to remediate the situatio as soon as possible.
