July 2004 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS, INC. AND QWEST COMMUNICATIONS, INC. SIGN NETWORK MANAGEMENT CONTRACT
Management Applications, Inc. (MAI), a leading producer of network engineering and management services, announced that a multi-year contract has been signed between MAI and Qwest Communications, Inc., to provide network management services to their enterprise customers.

MAI will provide full network monitoring and management services that include help desk support, network baselining, proactive network management, problem notification and resolution, troubleshooting, equipment configuration and archiving, and management control.

June 2004 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS, INC. AND BROADWING COMMUNICATIONS, LLC SIGN MANAGED SERVICE CONTRACT
Management Applications, Inc. (MAI), a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, today announced that a multi-year contract has been signed between MAI and Broadwing Communications, LLC, to provide managed network services. MAI is providing a service that includes both equipment and services to Broadwing that will then be re-branded as a Broadwing service offering.

MAI will provide full network monitoring and management, customer support and complete problem resolution of customer networks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Managed Service includes customer support, problem notification and resolution, network baselining, proactive network management, troubleshooting, application server maintenance and management, equipment configuration and maintenance, management control 24x7 telephone support, router management, and reporting and carrier escalation.



March 2003 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS INC. IS AWARDED THE NATIONAL GSA CONNECTIONS CONTRACT TO PROVIDE SUPPORT SERVICES
Management Applications, Inc. August 2002 - VALUE CITY DEPARTMENT STORES RENEWS NETWORK MANAGEMENT CONTRACT WITH MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS INC.
MAI wins competitive bid with Value City Department Stores signing 4-year contract.

Management Applications Inc., a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, has announced that Value City Department Stores (VCDS), a multi-million dollar retail chain based out of Columbus, Ohio, has chosen MAI to continue to monitor and manage their Wide Area Network. This new competetively bid, 4-year contract replaces the previous 3-year contract signed in 1998, and continues the monitoring and management of the network that MAI designed and installed for VCDS and its subsidiaries. "We are thrilled to continue on with MAI. Their long track record of performance and aggresive network management has allowed us to focus on other projects, freeing up staff and saving us hundreds of thousands of dollars," said Robert Pratali, Director of Telecommunications for VCDS.



July 2001 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS, INC. AWARDED NETWORK MANAGEMENT CONTRACT FOR BIG A DRUG STORES
Management Applications, Inc. is Awarded Contract to Provide Network Management Big A Drug Stores.

Management Applications, Inc. (MAI) announced a contract award to provide a comprehensive WAN management solution to Big A Drug Stores, a full-service drug store chain headquartered in Sunnyvale, CA. MAI will manage all locations via the MAI Network Operations Center (NOC) in Chantilly, VA, as well as integrate new locations into the WAN as needed. Previously, before MAI installed the Frame Relay WAN, Big A Drugs utilized dial-up analog connectivity to transfer store data and manage inventory. Big A Drugs intends to add valuable services to the new WAN once in place, including comprehensive email, Internet access, more robust inventory and ordering applications, and enhanced store support capabilities.

Eastern Arizona College (EAC) provides open access to quality higher education primarily to residents of the EAC service area. Management Applications, Inc. is Awarded Contract to Provide a Microwave Radio Network Management System to the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission.

Management Applications, Inc. (MAI), a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, today announced a contract award to provide a state-of-the-art Microwave Radio Network Management System to the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (MSLC). MAI’s winning solution, the Alcatel TSM-2500, is a Windows-based microwave network management system which will provide a Graphical User Interface (GUI) window into a asynchronous network, allowing monitoring and control of microwave radio equipment and have the ability to control other network elements. MAI is providing a full service solution to MSLC in support of this project that includes technical, business and installation services.

June 8, 2000 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS INC. WINS CONTRACT WITH STATE OF ARIZONA
Management Applications is Awarded Contract to Provide State-of-the-Art Communications Network for the State of Arizona

Management Applications, Inc. (MAI), a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, today announced a contract award to provide a state-of-the-art communications network with the State of Arizona. The competitively bid project, estimated to be potentially $50 million over 7 years, is a statewide wide area network (WAN) which will equitably interconnect Arizona’s community colleges, university’s, K-12 schools and other educational providers and consumers. The network will support voice, data and video applications with the primary application to provide distance-learning capabilities to each site. MAI is providing a full service network solution to Arizona Learning Systems (ALS) in support of this project that includes network design, development, WAN circuits, project management, procurement, installation, integration, network management and 24x7 monitoring and maintenance. Other ALS Bidders were Fore Systems, Winstar, US West, Norstan, Fujitsu, and Comdisco.



July 1999 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS, INC. WINS CONTRACT WITH STATE OF TEXAS
Management Applications is Awarded Contract to Provide Network Integration Services for TEX-AN 2000

Management Applications, Inc. (MAI), a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, has announced a contract award to provide Network Integration Services and web hosting and development for the State of Texas’s TEX-AN 2000 project. The competitively bid project is estimated to be $20 million over 5 years. Under the five year contract MAI will provide equipment and services for wide area data networking products that may be procured by GSC’s Qualified Ordering Entities (QOE) for connecting to or utilizing the services of the TEX-AN 2000 Network. Products available under the award will be from the following manufacturers: Visual Networks, Cabletron, Marconi Systems (formerly Fore Systems), 3Com, and Sun Microsystems. MAI also offers software, installation, maintenance and training. Other TEX-AN 2000 bidders were AT&T, Southwestern Bell, MCI WorldCom, and Unisys.



January 1999 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS, INC. WINS CONTRACT WITH DRUG EMPORIUM
Management Applications is Awarded Contract to Upgrade Drug Emporium’s Local and Wide Area Network

Management Applications, Inc. (MAI), a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, was awarded a three-year contract to upgrade Drug Emporium’s local and wide area network. Drug Emporium is a major retail chain based out of Columbus, Ohio with more than 150 stores in sixteen states. MAI will integrate the chain’s nationwide network and provide integration and management services for the next three years. In addition to network integration and management activities, MAI will be assisting Drug Emporium with plans to deliver in-store kiosks for customer ordering and product information and other consumer-oriented, Internet-based projects. This award was based on best value, with an approximate value of $2 million. The work to be performed includes encompasses full life-cycle engineering phases including network design, structured lab testing, pilot, production rollout, installation, and 7 x 24 network management. MAI competed with AvData, SARCOM and IBM Global Systems to win this contract award.



November 1998 - MANAGEMENT APPLICATIONS, INC. WINS CONTRACT WITH VALUE CITY DEPARTMENT STORES
Management Applications Selected to Modernize Value City Department Stores' Enterprise Network

Selected to Modernize Value City’s Enterprise Network To Reduce Point-Of-Sale (POS) Transaction Time And Credit Card Validation. Management Applications, Inc. (MAI), a leading provider of advanced networking solutions, was awarded a competitively bid, three-year contract to modernize Value City's enterprise network to reduct point-of-sale (POS) transaction time and credit card validation. Value City is a multi-million dollar retail chain based out of Columbus, Ohio. It operates more than 150 stores across the country. This award was based on best value, with an approximate value of $2.5 million. MAI teamed with Value City in the development of Electronic Commerce applications and techniques by utilizing state of the art and emerging technologies. MAI designed and provided a best value solution with Cisco Systems as the core technology for the Value City communication infrastructure re-systemization. The Store systems include Point of Sale terminals, payroll, inventory tracking, and drop shipping applications. MAI designed and won the competitive bid with Cisco’s emerging technology for Value City future Electronic Commerce in mind. This includes future options for Voice over IP/Frame to enhance Value City’s capability to maintain an edge on emerging technology and applications utilizing EDI. MAI competed with AvData, Gateway, Network Two, SARCOM and Sprint to win this contract award.
